Why can't I see my CIS300 return on the HMRC dashboard?

HM Revenue & Customs' portal (which shows your outstanding PAYE/NIC liabilities, as well as any previously filed CIS300 submissions and subcontractor tax treatment verifications, etc) is a separate standalone product (and government department!) and is not connected with the commercial software providers at all.

So, any submissions that you make via Gateway Solver, or one of our competitors such as Quickbooks, or Sage, will not appear as viewable or editable within the HMRC online portal.

Instead, your returns will be viewable in our Gateway Solver portal (or we can assist with your report history, ask!) or your third-party accounting product.

We have assisted HMRC in researching and developing a solution to allow third-party commercial online filing software to view return history and tax liability information which was due in 2018, however, this project appears to have been paused.
